The second Wednesday of every month will be dedicated to the faith community coming together to serve the larger community with an act of service.
We will begin our time together at 5:30 pm with dinner and then together we can join in the work of God’s Kingdom.
All are welcome for dinner, even if you are unable to stay and be part of the service project.
For our April Supper and Service, we will be assembling gift bags to be distributed to foster moms for Mother’s Day.
To help in our planning of dinner, we ask that you sign up by filling out the form below by Monday, April 8th.
We are looking for volunteers to provide dessert. If you are interested, please talk with Pastor Rebecca.
Looking Ahead...
There are many opportunities to serve our community and offer a little encouragement to others. A mother’s nurturing love and care does not always come from biological mothers. In preparation for Mother’s Day, our April Supper and Service will be dedicated to creating gift bags for foster mothers in our community. During March, we are collecting items to be included in these bags. We are collecting hand lotion, journals, candy, snacks, cozy socks, skin care masks, lip balm, and candle jars. Items can be placed in a bin in the Commons. We hope you will join us in sharing these gifts of gratitude and encouragement for women who open their hearts and homes to so many children.
