2010-11 Youth & Family Ministry Groups

        

NURSERY CARE

Age: Infants & Crawlers
Children are cared for by adult supervisors during all worship services.


TOT SPOT

Age: 3-5yrs
Children are cared for by adult supervisors during Sunday morning worship services.
A weekly theme, scripture and prayer are shared.


CHILDRENS' CHURCH

Age: K-5th Grade
Lead by a Pastor or Lay Leader during Sunday worship services.
A lesson, scripture and prayer is shared based on that week's message.
This is our Year round Sunday School Program.


SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP

By Middle School a students place is in Worship each week.
They are encouraged to attend the weekly D-Groups and to take part in Confirmation.


CONFIRMATION

Age: 6-8th Grade
“Confirmation” is the time for you to make your own decision about your relationship with God –
do you want to confirm for yourself your Baptism covenant.Confirmation is offered every two years.


(678) MID-HIGH D-GROUP

Age: 6-8th Grade
Students meet weekly for  fellowship, a meal, games and Bible study.
A special activity is planned each month that could be just for fun or a service project.
Other activities, such as retreats, help the youth focus on growing in faith.
Meeting September-June.


(912) HIGH SCHOOL D-GROUP

Age: 9-12th Grade
Students meet weekly for  fellowship, a meal, games and Bible study.
A special activity is planned each month that could be just for fun or a service project.
Other activities, such as our yearly Mission Trip, help the youth focus on growing in faith.
Meeting September-June. 


Boy Scout Troop 42

Troop 42 is chartered to First Church. The Church considers Troop 42 as one of its vital ministries,
but boys need not be members of First Church to participate.


(College & Carrer) Young Adult D-Group

Casual Conversations is a year-long program at Cranky Pat's Pizza in Neenah on Tuesday nights at 8pm,
that gives young people the opportunity to think about faith in new ways. We are promoting faith, community, democracy and wisdom. Opening up a world-minded  open, respectful public conversations.
Bring $6-8 for drinks and Pizza!

The HUB Youth Center is located at First United Methodist Church on the second floor l Downtown Neenah, WI. The HUB shares a strong social justice perspective with the community. The HUB has a snack counter. We also sell hemp jewelry and incense. The HUB invites you to come study, hang out or book meetings. The HUB offers both PC and Mac, with free wi-fi/ airport extreme. You can play Xbox 360 on the  big screen HDTVs or put on a show with the concert quality sound system.
